Howdy! My name is Cameron and I am a Texas based Wedding Photographer. It’s a pleasure to meet ya!

My sweet, southern mother, Donna, says “A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet”, so by that logic we’re already friends and I would love share more about me–

I’ve been documenting weddings since 2010, but officially launched Outland Weddings back in 2015. I was shakin in my metaphorical cowboy boots from the fear of starting my own business but now, after all these years, I’m so proud of the leap of faith I took at just 25-years-old. What a blessing it has been to journey across the US and meet so many incredible people I now get to call dear friends. It’s truly the best job in the world.

My wife, Anna, and I spend most of our evenings at home with our two dogs Bilbo Barkins & Avocado. We thoroughly enjoy trying new food spots and perusing the isles of the sacred temple of Target. Basic, I know, but who doesn’t love Target?! When I’m not in photo-mode, you’ll find me playing video games, building Lego sets, watching YouTube deep dives about Star Wars theories, and eating chicken wings (bone-in). It’s a sweet, simple life.

With the proud honor of being featured in magazines such as The Knot & Brides North Texas, otherwise known as Wed Society, I can't wait to capture more beautiful moments & serve couples like you. At the end of the day, my passion is people. It’s my driving force. The final images and beautiful wedding albums are a byproduct of the families and couples I get to document. I wouldn’t have anything to showcase without all the couples & friends I've captured over the last 10 years.

MEET CAMERON OF OUTLAND WEDDINGS.

Have you ever stayed up till 3am with your best friends eating Taco Bell and sharing life stories? Yeah, that’s kind of what it’s like.

Joking aside, I’ve always prided myself on having a light hearted and goofy personality. Having been raised by my mother, a Southern Bell of a woman, I’ve adapted most of my funny sayings and quirks from her. She never met a person she couldn’t strike up a conversation with, and that’s always been my approach when meeting new couples and capturing their celebrations.

That’s exactly what weddings are after all, celebrations! Celebrations of newly weds, old friends, distant relatives, and new acquaintances. You’re most likely here because you want someone who can document these core memories in a way that tells the truth of your day and represents your story.

Those are the photos that will mean the most to you at the end of the day. The in-between moments, candid laughs, kiddos on the dance floor, and intentional, natural connection with you and your partner.

It’s a joy to meet new people and tell their story. It fills my love bucket and it's something I hope I can do for you as well. After all, we're basically friends now, remember? :)
